This is the wedding photography blog for Melbourne based photographer Brent Lukey.

Brent combines a documentary and editorial style capturing classic, natural moments without making the day feel like a photo shoot.

He will travel anywhere, but mostly gets about Melbourne, the Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, and Geelong.

You can contact Brent on 0427 483 836 and look at more work at his web sites.

Joel and Tamara - a 40th birthday, a surprise wedding - The George Ballroom.

There are two things I'm obsessed by - vintage watches and black and white photography, well there's also red sneakers, French film and music, record cover art, Hong Kong cinema of the 1990s, Akira Kurosawa movies, early Australian maritime history, Kate Bush, and Japanese farmhouses; then maybe an unhealthy interest in Danish sofas, Eurovision, pinot noir, Daniel Kitson's view of the world, finding Melbourne's best masala dosa, Brett Whiteley's paintings and Horatio Hornblower novels. But essentially vintage watches and black and white photography. So having warned you, beware should you sit next to me at a dinner party, I'll be going on and on about the wine (starting to yawn already?) then blabber endlessly about Matthew Flinders and his cat Trim (get me away from this guy). A highlight of late last year was this 40th birthday that became a surprise wedding - the energy was electric. As far as I could tell there were no 1960s Omega Seamasters, Serge Gainsbourg songs or references to Wong Kar-wai, but it fed my obsession with black and white photography.
