It was a great pleasure to open and judge the Emerald PAVE
Photography Competition earlier today. The overall theme
for the exhibition was 'light' and the photographs were of a high
standard and from many age groups. I was particularly drawn to three
images that used the theme well, intrigued me and demonstrated a different perspective. The prize winners were - 3rd place
Leslie Fielder for the work 'Humayan's Tomb', 2nd place Judi Roberts for
'Reflecting - Emerald', and 1st prize to Paul Bianco (pictured below) for 'Early Morning
Footy at Mt Evelyn'. The youth prize went to Joe Blair for 'Polarity'.
