This is the wedding photography blog for Melbourne based photographer Brent Lukey.

Brent combines a documentary and editorial style capturing classic, natural moments without making the day feel like a photo shoot.

He will travel anywhere, but mostly gets about Melbourne, the Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, and Geelong.

Luda and Daniel's wedding - Stones of the Yarra Valley.

It's hard to beat Stones of the Yarra Valley for the country-vineyard-rustic-barn wedding - it's a  spectacular place for photography, with so many locations that are truly interesting to work in - as opposed to the many wedding venues that are oddly fake in rustic style, or cliched to the max. I should also point out the superb food and general professionalism all round. Daniel and Luda's wedding was sincere and emotional, with great suits, great hair, gorgeous dresses (really, take a look) and flowers (Blooming Brides), with plenty of enthusiastic family and friends - and perhaps too many cameras. The ceremony was conducted by Sylvia Johnston who is always a pleasure to work with, and joining me to find the beauty in photographs was my awesome second Michelle. Thank you to everyone who helped make the photography great - it takes more than just a photographer to do that.
