This is the wedding photography blog for Melbourne based photographer Brent Lukey.

Brent combines a documentary and editorial style capturing classic, natural moments without making the day feel like a photo shoot.

He will travel anywhere, but mostly gets about Melbourne, the Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, and Geelong.

You can contact Brent on 0427 483 836 and look at more work at his web sites.

my wedding favourites 2012 - part 4

I'm always looking for new ways to shoot in well
photographed venues. On this occasion I went super wide to
include the chandelier, golden light and texture
of the walls,  having never done this at this location before.
I was also taken by couple's strong and fun natural pose. We all
knew it was a great shot - I love that feeling while working.
(shot at Stones of the Yarra Valley, Yarra Valley).

I like it when everyone looks great and like they are having a good time.
A natural moment with a little set up, weddings can be like that sometimes.
(shot at Campbell Point House, Bellarine Peninsula).

Couldn't believe it when I saw this ... I love the
combined elements, of brother and sister, bride
and groom, and the outstretched arms.
I think it has a beautiful energy.
(shot at Tatra, Mount Dandenong).

Another photo I love for combined elements - the 'Tim loves Rosy', the pose, the crowd,
those great festoon lights, and the industrial brewery surrounds.
(shot at the Mountain Goat Brewery, Richmond).

Grandparents who love each other, what's not
to like about that.
