This is the wedding photography blog for Melbourne based photographer Brent Lukey.

Brent combines a documentary and editorial style capturing classic, natural moments without making the day feel like a photo shoot.

He will travel anywhere, but mostly gets about Melbourne, the Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, and Geelong.

You can contact Brent on 0427 483 836 and look at more work at his web sites.

Sharon and Tommy's wedding - Stones of the Yarra Valley.

Sharon and Tommy managed a big Italian wedding that was informal and without the cliches. They achieved this by heading east to the beautiful and efficient Stones of the Yarra Valley, omitting some traditional elements - no bouquets and no bridal party - and bringing in the superb celebrant Sylvia Johnson.

Christie and Joel's wedding - St Thomas Aquinas, South Yarra and The Prince, St Kilda.

St Thomas Aquinas in South Yarra is a small church in a quiet street with an understated Spanish beauty. When Christie and Joel planned their Melbourne wedding from San Francisco they happened across this great church and The Prince in St Kilda as venues - nice work from afar.

The shoot was kept simple with a few shots getting ready at The Prince, some family shots at the church, then back to The Prince for more photos and dinner - low key, glamorous and in context. I should point out that the stunning flowers are by Kristina at VivaFlora and yes her work is incredible and features a lot on my blog.
