This is the wedding photography blog for Melbourne based photographer Brent Lukey.

Brent combines a documentary and editorial style capturing classic, natural moments without making the day feel like a photo shoot.

Christina and Jack - Cruden Farm, Langwarrin.

Big or small I love a backyard wedding, the best thing is that you are out of the 'sausage-factory-passive-aggressive-we-always-do-this-wedding-venue-approach' and therefore you can set the day to your satisfaction. For example, if you want to have drinks for two hours after the ceremony rather than half an hour, sure thing, if you think the party is jammin' and could really push on past 2am, then bring on the tunes, or, can we have our dog just follow us around all day and night? Absolutely. Plus, you don't need cars. So here we are at the truly beautiful Cruden Farm in Langwarrin for a ceremony by the stables, extended drinks and canapes on the lawn, and a reception on the tennis court with Christina and Jack's nearest and dearest and their dog Marley, fabulous! Then, to top it off, the Wilbur Wild Band smash out the bangers, including a memorable cover of 'Never Tear Us Apart' with a ripping saxophone solo. Quite a wedding and probably the best party this side of the Deni Ute Muster.
