This is the wedding photography blog for Melbourne based photographer Brent Lukey.

Brent combines a documentary and editorial style capturing classic, natural moments without making the day feel like a photo shoot.

He will travel anywhere, but mostly gets about Melbourne, the Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, and Geelong.

You can contact Brent on 0427 483 836 and look at more work at his web sites.

Feature Wedding - Katelyn and Corey - Coombe Estate, Yarra Valley.

Carlton and North Melbourne (and to some extent Melbourne) share a great name in football history – the mighty Brent Crosswell – a star of the game and a finals legend, look him up. Now Brent is an uncommon name, but when I was born my father (full of ideas that his first born son would be a football star) arrived at the Queen Victoria hospital with the 1970 Carlton Premiership team list and said to my long suffering mum 'pick a name Colleen, this kid will be a champ'. Sergio would have been my choice, but Brent (who turned out a short guy who preferred cricket) was chosen and the rest is history.

You may well ask why am I going on about the legendary 1970 Carlton team (who beat Collingwood by 10 points in one of the greatest grand finals of all time) and the man Brent Crosswell. Well, somewhat strangely, there were three Brents at Katelyn and Corey's wedding – a record for the most Brents in a room at the one time in the Yarra Valley. So, I could waffle on about the stunning bride, the flowers, the amazing dress, or the bucks party in Thailand (no doubt a close second to the 1970 Grand Final for male bonding rituals) or relive the glorious days of the Carlton Football Club – and I choose the football! But enough of me, here's cheers to Katelyn and Corey's stunning victory in the great game of love and friendship.
