This is the wedding photography blog for Melbourne based photographer Brent Lukey.

Brent combines a documentary and editorial style capturing classic, natural moments without making the day feel like a photo shoot.

He will travel anywhere, but mostly gets about Melbourne, the Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, and Geelong.

You can contact Brent on 0427 483 836 and look at more work at his web sites.

A first look from high above the city, a kiss in Flinders Street.

Part 1. A story - a love story - about Melbourne, about socks, about shoes (very much about shoes), and about family. It begins with a first look from high above the city, followed by a kiss inside a heart in a lane way. An autumn tale - though it looks more like winter. There's football and gözleme. It will conclude with a wedding, a country wedding, laced with Pimms and rose petals. To be continued ...

Josie and Tim's wedding - St John's, Toorak and The International, Brighton.

Josie wore an amazing dress, so amazing it stopped another bridal party in their tracks as they admired it. Tim looked sharp too with patent leather shoes and tuxedo. We had photos at one location - Victoria Barracks - then went to the nearby Botanical Hotel for drinks and time out with the bridal party and parents. Remember you don't have to fill your day with posed photos, have something to eat and enjoy being with your friends. Wedding dress by J'Aton Couture.
