This is the wedding photography blog for Melbourne based photographer Brent Lukey.

Brent combines a documentary and editorial style capturing classic, natural moments without making the day feel like a photo shoot.

He will travel anywhere, but mostly gets about Melbourne, the Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, and Geelong.

You can contact Brent on 0427 483 836 and look at more work at his web sites.

Quynh and Chris - The Prince Deck, St Kilda.

For me as a photographer, I see the wedding day as a celebration that is as much about the guests as the couple. Amongst other things it's a positive, life affirming view of the future, and a declaration of unity with family, friends and the wider community. A memorable, emotional and happy day. If I can capture some of this in my photography, I think I'm doing my job well. It's also one of those rare public opportunities in our culture to tell (or show) people how much they are loved. Quynh and Chris' wedding at The Prince Deck is full of life and love, fun, family, friends, a song, laughs, a little bit of bling, champagne and great food - and all this happened over lunch.
