This is the wedding photography blog for Melbourne based photographer Brent Lukey.

Brent combines a documentary and editorial style capturing classic, natural moments without making the day feel like a photo shoot.

He will travel anywhere, but mostly gets about Melbourne, the Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, and Geelong.

You can contact Brent on 0427 483 836 and look at more work at his web sites.

Taking a break - Back on January 6th.

We are having a little holiday but will continue to check email and respond to inquiries. Take care and enjoy the warm weather. We will be available for meetings from January 6th. Cheers, Brent

Stillwater at Crittenden - a blackboard, little boxes, pork belly, the cake, geppetto, the vows, bride's father with violin, and the rings.

The bride by window in Kew.

Katie and Oliver - Scotch College, Hawthorn and Comme, Melbourne.

"We are young, we run green, keep our teeth nice and clean. See our friends, see the sights, feel alright ..." that's British band Supergrass having fun in the 90s with a song that is energetic, fun and cool - just like this wedding at Scotch College and Comme. After the ceremony we took to the Melbourne streets and the Fitzroy gardens for photos, then Katie and Oliver arrived at Alfred Place for a grand entrance on the Comme staircase. Food, wine, speeches then a lot of dancing as the staff at Comme magically transformed the room from dinner party to late night cocktail club with dance floor and fairy lights - amazing work people. A little bit old school, a little bit Melbourne, a touch of far north Queensland and a lot of classic Hollywood glamour.
