Nice to see Elena and Shaun's fab wedding featured on Polka Dot Bride this week.
This is the wedding photography blog for Melbourne based photographer Brent Lukey.
Brent combines a documentary and editorial style capturing classic, natural moments without making the day feel like a photo shoot.
He will travel anywhere, but mostly gets about Melbourne, the Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, and Geelong.
You can contact Brent on 0427 483 836 and look at more work at his web sites.

The 'lads' (I can say that because most of them are English) prior to the ceremony at Circa in St Kilda.
Real Weddings - The Bouquet.
This advertisement from Real Weddings magazine features one of my photos. The beautiful florist work is by Victoria Whitelaw in South Yarra.

The Couple - at Circa, St Kilda, Saturday night.
For all the photojournalistic moments, clever lighting and quirky set ups, there are often times when the couple just want a great, simple photo of themselves.

Lakshi and Andrew - Oakridge, Yarra Valley.
Keep it simple, keep it beautiful and about the people - well that's basically how I shoot a wedding but it's also a great philosophy for your wedding day. Furthermore, make it special for everyone, which I feel translates as great food and wine, things for children to do, awesome music, and an interesting location - but hey someone else would probably say hot rods, tubs of beer and a BBQ. Andrew and Lakshi's wedding encapsulates all of this (no, not the hot rods and BBQ), a splendid afternoon at Oakridge in the Yarra Valley and a real pleasure to photograph. Nice shots by my assistant too.
