This is the wedding photography blog for Melbourne based photographer Brent Lukey.

Brent combines a documentary and editorial style capturing classic, natural moments without making the day feel like a photo shoot.

He will travel anywhere, but mostly gets about Melbourne, the Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, and Geelong.

today's edit - a wedding at The Prince.

Here's a couple of shots from a wedding I finished editing today. I love them both, but the first shot is one of my favourite wedding photos this year. The ceremony and reception was held at The Prince in St Kilda, more to come.

I love this shot and it's the type of moment I would never have attempted with film - but digital gives you flexibility to experiment on occasion. In brief, we finished shooting in Acland St and were heading up to The Deck. While in step I saw the potential photo, bumped up the ISO, went wide, held the camera above my head and managed 3 frames before the moment was lost (above).
